O Criciúma e o Brusque fazem neste final de semana a grande decisão do Campeonato Catarinense 2024. As equipes disputam o título pelo segundo ano consecutivo. O confronto da volta ocorre neste sábado (06/04), às 16h30min, no estádio Heriberto Hülse. Na ida da final, no estádio Dr. Hercílio Luz, em Itajaí, o Tigre venceu o adversário do Vale pelo placar de 2 a 1 com gols de Tobias Figueiredo e Fellipe Mateus.
Com o resultado feito no jogo de ida, a equipe comandada pelo técnico Cláudio Tencati conquista o bicampeonato com um empate. Em caso de vitória do Brusque por um gol de diferença, o campeão Catarinense será conhecido nas penalidades. Para a decisão, o comandante carvoeiro não possui atletas suspensos por cartões.
O Tigre tem a vantagem de disputar o jogo da volta em casa por ter encerrado a primeira fase do Campeonato Catarinense na liderança com 25 pontos. O Brusque, adversário da decisão, ficou na 6ª posição com 17 pontos.
O elenco fez o último treinamento preparatório na tarde desta sexta-feira (05/06) no estádio Heriberto Hülse, palco da final. A concentração iniciou após a atividade.
