A Cooperativa Energética Cocal – COOPERCOCAL, em parceria com a Prefeitura Municipal de Criciúma, dá início a um importante projeto de substituição de lâmpadas vapor de sódio por modernas luminárias de LED no bairro São Simão. A iniciativa representa uma mudança na paisagem urbana e um compromisso conjunto com o bem-estar da comunidade.
A Coopercocal, com seu conhecimento e comprometimento com o desenvolvimento local, realizará toda a mão de obra necessária para a execução das trocas, enquanto a prefeitura através do projeto de luminotécnica fornecerá todo o material necessário. No total, serão instaladas cerca de 400 novas luminárias de LED em todas as vias públicas do bairro São Simão. As lâmpadas instaladas tem potência de 50W e 150W e começaram a ser substituídas na manhã de sexta-feira (19).
Dentre os benefícios esperados com a implantação das novas luminárias, destaca-se a economia nos cofres públicos proporcionada pela redução do consumo de energia. Além disso, as luminárias de LED oferecem uma série de benefícios adicionais, incluindo uma vida útil prolongada e uma menor necessidade de manutenção, o que significa menos interrupções e custos reduzidos ao longo do tempo. Sua luminosidade também melhora a visibilidade noturna, contribuindo para a segurança dos motoristas, pedestres e moradores do bairro.
