Um visitante inusitado apareceu na orla da praia de Esplanada, na tarde desta terça-feira, 8. Trata-se de um leão-marinho encontrado pelo pescador, Hiury Mazon, segundo ele, por volta das 15 horas.
Conforme o pescador, o animal apresentava sinais de cansaço. “Ele é forte e grande e já deve ser monitorado por órgãos ambientais, pois tem uma numeração em seu corpo. Joguei um peixe, mas não pegou. Até evitei de ficar muito ali, para ele não ficar se cansando”, informou, Mazon, que se deparou com a grata surpresa, em suas rondas pela beira da praia.

Nesse período do ano, animais desta espécie tem como hábito alimentar-se e deslocar-se na água e descansar. “Mas infelizmente, algumas vezes acabam vindo para a orla, não conseguem voltar para o mar e morrem”, lamenta.
