Inauguração contará com a presença do governador Jorginho Mello
O novo sistema de tratamento de esgoto de Balneário Barra do Sul, no Litoral Norte de Santa Catarina, será inaugurado nesta quarta-feira (9). O investimento é de R$ 72 milhões.
De acordo com a Casan (Companhia Catarinense de Águas e Saneamento), o sistema deverá atender até 17 mil moradores na região central da cidade, numa cobertura de 52% do esgoto do município.
O governador Jorginho Mello estará presente na inauguração, que ocorre no início da tarde desta quarta-feira. A estação de tratamento de esgoto está instalada no bairro Pinheiros, e conta com 36 km de rede coletora.
O sistema conta também com o chamado tratamento terciário, responsável por remover poluentes que não são eliminados nas etapas tradicionais para devolver à natureza um efluente com alto índice de pureza.
