De acordo com a equipe do serviço aeromédico o fato ocorreu durante a tarde desta sexta-feira, dia 29. Por volta das 14 horas a aeronave da Polícia Civil, tripulada pelos policiais do SAER e pelos profissionais da saúde do SARASUL, foi acionada pela a Central de Regulação Médica do SAMU para socorrer uma paciente com suspeita de AVC no Pronto Atendimento de Balneário Gaivota.
A vítima é uma idosa de 74 anos que apresentava um quadro de Acidente Vascular Cerebral, AVC, sendo necessário o tratamento especializado em hospital referência em neurologia. A mulher recebeu o atendimento da equipe do SAER/SARASUL, que transferiu a mesma até o Hospital São José em Criciúma.
