Sobre Pomerode, uma das citações de Léo Lins foi de que na cidade vivem “diversos europeus trans”, referindo-se sobre pessoas que nasceram no Brasil, mas que se identificam como europeias.
Entre as falas, Lins comenta que a cidade está localizada “a sombra de Blumenau” e que a população fala um alemão difícil, “que nem na Alemanha se fala mais”.
