O Aeroporto de Jaguaruna terá um investimento que aumentará a segurança da pista. O Estado, por meio da Secretaria de Portos, Aeroportos e Ferrovias, foi autorizado a realizar a licitação para a contratacão do Indicador de Percurso de Aproximação de Precisão (PAPI, singla em inglês para Precision Approach Path Indicator), para a cabeceira 23. Com essa obra as duas cabeceiras terão este importante equipamento que orienta a rampa ideal de aproximação para pouso aos pilotos.
“Mesmo enquanto aguardamos a conclusão do processo de concessão do Aeroporto de Jaguaruna, seguimos com investimentos importantes que ampliarão a segurança dos passageiros”, afirma o secretário de Portos, Beto Martins.
O investimento para a instalação deste segundo PAPI é de R$ 648 mil, com R$ 600 mil oriundos da Secretaria Nacional de Aviação Civil (SAC). O prazo para a execução dos trabalho é de 180 dias após a finalização da licitação.
O projeto que será contratado já foi analisado pela Aeronáutica e autorizado para ser licitado e executado.
A realização da obra não irá interferir na operação dos voos de passageiros do Aeroporto.
