A Escola Básica Municipal Bairro Bortolotto, de Nova Veneza, faz parte do Programa Sanitarista Júnior, da Companhia Integrada de Desenvolvimento Agrícola de Santa Catarina (Cidasc). E na noite desta quarta-feira (29), foram capacitados 62 estudantes da instituição no projeto que visa sensibilizar os alunos sobre as práticas agrícolas e despertar a consciência ambiental.
Mundialmente conhecida em 2021, por conta da “Rifa da Fazendinha”, a escola foi escolhida pela Cidasc para fazer parte do programa que tem parcerias com escolas públicas e privadas de todas as regiões de Santa Catarina. “Nossa ideia é que as crianças entendam como funciona toda a cadeia agropecuária e que possam transmitir esses conhecimentos adquiridos adiante. Estamos muito felizes em poder aplicar este projeto em Nova Veneza, que tem uma educação de excelência e com professores comprometidos em garantir uma educação de qualidade”, destaca o gestor da Cidasc, em Criciúma, Daniel Remor Moritz.
Os estudantes tiveram aulas sobre cuidados com a sanidade animal, vegetal e inspeção sanitária permitindo o bom desempenho da atividade rural. Eles também puderam compreender que os produtos devem ser inspecionados antes de chegar na mesa dos consumidores.
Os alunos que participam do projeto fazem parte do 4º ano dos anos iniciais. “Muitos dos nossos alunos nasceram e cresceram em áreas rurais, mas outros já convivem mais nas áreas urbanas e essa troca de experiência e atividades que foram realizadas ao longo do ano, com certeza trouxe muitos conhecimentos novos para todos. E é assim que vamos formando cidadãos com responsabilidade e consciência ambiental, através da educação e de bons exemplos”, comenta o prefeito Rogério Frigo.
