Conforme levantamento realizado pelo Comitê Nacional de Secretarias de Fazenda (Comsefaz), alguns estados, como Mato Grosso do Sul, Espírito Santo, Mato Grosso, Rio Grande do Sul e Santa Catarina, adotam uma alíquota modal de 17%, a mais baixa do Brasil, estabelecida para vigorar ao longo do ano de 2024.
