Após chuva intensa nas últimas horas, uma cratera se abriu na BR-470, em Rio do Sul, na madrugada desta quarta-feira, dia 14. Um carro chegou a cair no grande buraco no km 143 da rodovia.
No veículo estava um casal que sofreu ferimentos leves. As vítimas foram atendidas no local pelo Corpo de Bombeiros e se recusaram serem levadas ao hospital. Por conta da cratera, o trânsito está sendo desviado por dentro do município.
O Departamento Nacional de Infraestrutura de Transportes (DNIT) informou que não há previsão para liberação e reconstrução da pista. Pelo fato de a rodovia estar interditada, existem rotas alternativas. A principal delas é pela margem direita do rio Itajaí-Açu, passando pelos bairros Budag e Barragem, utilizando a Estrada da Madeira.
Segundo a Defesa Civil de Rio do Sul, houve 92 milímetros de chuva na cidade nas últimas 24 horas e chovia no instante em que o asfalto cedeu.
